What does HPF/DAQV do?

When a HPF program that has been compiled with HPF/DAQV is executed, the program becomes a distributed array server. As a server, it allows query or visualization clients to connect to it. For this reason, HPF/DAQV supports client-server protocols for data access and program control.

HPF/DAQV supports two models of interaction, called push and pull. The distinction between these two models lies in who decides to extract distributed array data.
